Dari Sylvester: On the Road Again

Pacific Political Science Professor. Dari Sylvester and Professor Nate Monroe from UC-Merced are traveling to Chicago to co-present their paper “Cutting Costs: An Assessment of Vote By Mail” at the Midwest Political Science Association meeting this week. Their research was funded in part from a $250k Help America Vote Act grant received by Sylvester and the Jacoby Center for Public Service and Civic Leadership in early 2008.

Sylvester will also be co-presenting empirical findings from her service-learning course in public policy at the Continuums of Service conference sponsored by Washington Campus Compact in Seattle. Sylvester was chosen as a Carnegie Foundation Fellow in 2007, and the research she will present was funded in part through that grant.
