Keith Smith Opens 2008-2009 Colloquium Series
who has joined the Pacific Political Science Department this year, presented the first department research colloquium of the 2008-2009 academic year. Professor Smith’s presentation was a version of a paper he presented at the 2008 American Political Science Association meetings in Boston. In “The Perils of Punctuation,” Professor Smith demonstrated the methodological difficulty of using budget data to show that policy changes are not always incremental.
Future colloquium sessions will focus on the 2008 presidential election.
